The Index to Current Urban Documents (ICUD) is the only
regularly published guide to the reports and research that are generated
by local government agencies, civic organizations, academic and research
organizations, public libraries, and metropolitan and regional planning
agencies in approximately 500 selected cities in the United States
and Canada. A yearly subscription to ICUD includes a fully searchable
online index with full text documents available as PDF files.
More than 2,400 documents indexed each year from
more than 500 major U.S. and Canadian cities.
Updated every six to eight weeks, ICUD features full text documents.
URLs of all agencies are included in the Index.

and the Urban Documents Program, read our FAQ Sheet.
The new web-based ICUD/Urban Documents Collection is a milestone
in improving access to local government publications. With this
new product, Greenwood Publishing puts the ICUD on a technological
par with other important online collections of government and public
policy materials. The web interface, with boxes for key word and
subject searches, is clear and straightforward, and a click from
the index entry produces the full document as a PDF file."
